Our BUCKLE chair takes home BIG SEE Design Award 2025

We are proud to announce that our design chair BUCKLE has been honored with the BIG SEE Design Award - a recognition that celebrates excellence in creativity, innovation, and sustainable design across Southeast Europe.

Buckle is a dining chair with a futuristic appearance, designed primarily for home use. With its minimalist design, clearly defined geometric shapes, fully upholstered seat and backrest, and sleek solid wooden legs, it blends seamlessly with contemporary and modern interior styles – adding a touch of sophistication and edginess to the dining area.

Its durability extends the chair’s lifespan, thereby reducing the need for frequent replacements. Buckle is designed for easy disassembly and recycling at the end of its life cycle, making it a sustainable choice.

A thoughtful design

The Buckle dining chair combines style, functionality and environmental responsibility, as the wood used is FSC-certified. The curved seat and backrest provide excellent support, promoting an ergonomically sound sitting position.

The designer

The BUCKLE chair is designed by Jacob Amtorp. His designs are influenced by his Scandinavian origin with the trendsetting design as well as the modernistic movement from the early 20th century.

Another source of inspiration is nature, which Jacob finds just outside his door from his home in Norway.
