Why use artificial leather

Artificial leather is a man-made alternative to real leather.
The surface is embossed to have the visual characteristics of leather and it feels like a waxed leather.
Artificial leather is a popular choice of material for furniture in public spaces as well as private homes.

Faux leather - less impact on the environment

Faux leather is our latest addition to our artificial leather selection.
We’ve improved on both the production process (significantly less water consumption and no solvents used), and it has a scratch-free and easy-clean surface, making it more resistent to wear and tear.

This is a fabulous alternative to leather and offers the same visual qualities and same if not higher durability.

Care instructions

All materials require maintenance. Without the proper care, artificial & faux leather will dry out which can cause surface cracking and peeling.

We recommend sealing the surface with a leather soap, for example from Guardian, before you start using the furniture. Carefully follow instructions and always test the sealing product in a non-visible spot first.
You should apply leather soap 1-2 times a year to retain the qualities of the artificial & faux leather.
