At DAN-FORM we believe that great design goes hand-in-hand with responsibility. Sustainability isn't just about being green —it's about creating high-quality products that stand the test of time. Our furniture is built to last, reducing the need for frequent replacements and thereby cutting down on waste.

New initiatives from 2022

Nature is an invaluable source of inspiration to create our designs. We believe it's our duty to preserve that nature that fuels our creativity. By choosing sustainable materials and eco-friendly production methods, we minimize our impact on the environment.

In 2022 DAN-FORM took several green initiatives in the production of furniture - hereamong in sourcing wood, using water-based finishes, and selecting recyclable materials as the new RPES fabric. Moreover all fabric ordered by the roll is OEKO-TEX® certified.

Protecting our roots

DAN-FORM is FSC certified (FSC-C171164).
This means the wood can be traced back to responsibly managed forests with good working conditions for those working in the forests.
All new designs from 2022 onwards come with FSC certified wood.
We are also taking on responsibility for our partner factories’ compliance with BSCI, making sure they offer satisfactory working conditions.

The power of waste

In 2022 we launched our first products with RPES fabric made from recycled plastic.
The plastic bottles are pelleted, cleaned and made into granulate and finally into fibres to weave new material from.

OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics

All chairs produced in either faux leather, bouclé or RPRES fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified.

We like to ensure that every component used in our fabrics is free from harmful substances.

This certification guarantees safety, sustainability, and high quality, providing our customers with furniture that is not only stylish and durable but also safe for their homes and the environment.

Test & trust

We test all new designs according to industry-standard protocols, so you can trust in the quality. Our products are tested for commercial use.

Tables are tested for scratch resistance, upholstry is tested in martindale and chairs are tested in strength and stability.

We offer some of our popular upholstery fabric for sale in full rolls only. Select a wide range of beatifull color on fabric, RPES facric and artificial leather.

Minimizing impact

We use recycled boxes for all our packaging to minimize our impact on the environment. Our packaging is without expanded polystyrene (EPS). – similar to Styrofoam, as EPS is made from petroleum and not biodegradable.

Furthermore our partner factories are working under BEPI - the Business Environmental Performance Initiative, a program developed by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) to improve the environmental performance of supply chains. Tracking and constantly seeking to enhance their environmental footprint.
